With over 30 years of experience in real estate, I’ve had the privilege of shaping and leading successful virtual brokerage offices in Houston, Texas, and now bring my expertise to The Somerlyn Group. My career is built on a passion for leveraging technology, effective marketing, and strong negotiation skills to empower clients and colleagues alike. As a former Broker/Owner of two virtual real estate offices, I’ve cultivated a deep understanding of the intersection between real estate, technology, and the digital landscape.

In addition to my brokerage experience, I am an active instructor at Champions Real Estate School and a former contributor to RETI.us, where I helped shape the next generation of real estate professionals through training on technology and digital tools. I’ve also had the honor of speaking at numerous prestigious industry events, including Inman, NAR, and state associations across the country. My speaking topics range from Data Security and Social Media Marketing to Ethics, Leadership, and Risk Management. I’m passionate about educating and inspiring others to innovate and elevate their business practices.

A dedicated advocate for the real estate industry, I’ve served on the Board of Directors for the Houston Association of REALTORS, Texas Association of REALTORS, and National Association of REALTORS. I’ve held leadership positions such as Vice-Chair/Chair of the Member Communications Committee and Vice-Chair/Chair of the Consumer Communications Committee at NAR. Additionally, I’ve served on various committees at the local, state, and national levels, focusing on emerging technology, risk management, and broker involvement.
